Proxy Error Messages

In BidPlus, please click on the Options menu, and then choose Internet Options. Now click on the connections tab, then click on the LAN settings button at the bottom. Now look near the bottom of that display and you will see the settings for Proxy Server. If there is a check in the box for "Use a Proxy Server", then click to take the check out.

Also, try uncheking "Use Automatic config. script"

Then click OK, then click Apply, then click OK to close everything. Now restart your computer, and then give it another try.

We've also discovered that there are such things as "proxy" pop-up stoppers, such as one titled AdSubtract. Since the netlet is considered a pop-up, there can't be any pop-up stoppers. Hold down Ctrl+Alt+Del to see what is running on your computer. Also, try going to Start-->Settings-->Control Panel-->Add/Remove Software and see if there are any programs that have installed themselves from the Internet that might be causing you a connection problem.
