What's A Profile?

A Profile is a set of specific information that the BidPlus Millennium program uses to keep track of which user is using the program. It is automatically created during the registration process. A Profile keeps track of your particular Pricing Plan, Bid Settings, and Passwords, as well as your Unimatic Plus and Apollo Plus jobs. Basically, if there were several users and Profiles for your program, your Profile would cause the program to be customized just for you whenever you use it.

Please remember that each BidPlus Membership/Profile is unique to the user, and incurs its own charge. It is based on your file number. Each member in a household must have their own Membership/Profile and will incur their own charges. This applies to spouses as well. For information on creating a Membership/Profile, click here.

Adding An Additional Profile

To add an additional Profile, click on the Profiles menu at the top, and then choose Create/Update User Profile. Then click the Create button. This will walk you throuh the steps of adding an additional Profile for your friend or spouse to your program.

To access and update your Profile, or to change from one Profile to another, you must be in the Internet Mode. To access the Interent Mode, you must first exit either Unimatic Plus or Apollo Plus if you are in either one of those features. Next, click on the Internet button at the top.

The current Profile is always displayed in the title bar at the very top. Now click on the Profiles menu at the top left, and then choose "Select A Different User Profile".

**Please Note***
Never, never change profiles while a profile is logged onto Unimatic or Apollo! Make sure that you are completely logged off first. Otherwise, the membership information for one profile will become integrated with the wrong profile. If this happens, you will need to click on the Profiles menu, and then choose Remove A User Profile. Then you will need to remove the affected profile, and then recreate it.

AOL Membership - THERE IS NO LONGER AN AOL MEMBERSHIP REQUIRED TO USE BIDPLUS.

Pricing Plans - Each Profile contains it's own Pricing Plan . So one profile can expire and become deactivated without effecting the activation of any of the other profiles.

Bid Settings - The Profile will also keep track of your bidding settings. So if you prefer to have your Configuration or Legalities features set a certain way, it will have no impact on the other profiles. However, any Profile can access any bid package, as in the case of buddy bidding . So please be careful that the bid package you access is indeed your own. Please review the section on renaming your bid package .

***VERY IMPORTANT***
When you are ready to upload your bids the program will only upload the bids to the active Profile LOFBID in place at the time. You are not able to automatically upload the bids of a non-member. That non-member's bids will get uploaded to your LOFBID! They must become a member and create their own Profile in order to have the program automatically upload their bids.

Passwords - Each Profile will keep the user's  Unimatic & Apollo Passwords separate. So if one user's password expires for Unimatic, updating it will not effect any of the other user's Passwords.

Unimatic Plus & Apollo Plus - Your Profile will also keep your Unimatic Plus and Apollo Plus jobs specific to you. So if another user access the program to do their Apollo Plus work, then when you return to the program and change to your profile, you will find that all of your work has been preserved an uneffected.
