Security and Privacy (top)

We have taken every necessary precaution and invested quite a bit to protect your privacy and ensure your security. The connection that you establish for the purpose of registration is a secure connection using the latest SSL technology. And the data that is transmitted is encypted for your protection. So even if someone were able to intercept it, which is highly unlikely, they would still not be able to read it. Additionally, once your registration is complete, we do not keep your credit card information on file or in a database anywhere. Because of the changes to our activation process, the only time your billing information is required is at the time of your registration. Other then that, we have no reason to keep it. Recent reports of credit card numbers stolen online had to do with hackers accessing a database and helping themselves to the information. Since we do not maintain a database of credit cards, there is nothing to steal.

Additionally, the web page that we use to process your registration can only be accessed through the BidPlus Millennium software. Any attempts to access that page from a different program will be rejected.

And you can rest assured that we have no intention of using your personal information for any purpose other then to establish your membership with BidPlus. Your personal information is never made public, sold, traded, given away, or otherwise used for any purpose of distributed marketing of any kind. We absolutely respect your privacy, and we fully intend to keep your private information private.

Establishing A Membership (top)

The BidPlus Millennium membership is based on your UAL company file number. In order to use the program, each user must have their own membership, and create their own Profile. To begin the membership process, please click on the Profiles menu at the top, and then choose 'Create/Update User Profile'. From there, simply follow the on screen instructions.

Pricing Plans (top)

The BidPlus Millennium service is a closed ended supscription membership. This means that you purchase credit for a certain amount of time. You are able to purchase additional credit at any time. And just like a magazine subscription, what you pay for is yours. There are no refunds of any kind. We do not keep track of how often you are using the program. Your credit time is yours to do as you wish. This also means that once your credit has run out, the program is automatically deactivated. There are no automatic charges. We do not keep your billing information on file and we do not initiate any charges from here. The only way a charge is placed is when you enter your credit car number and submit the charge.

The pricing plan consists of a 6 month subscription for $50 ($8.33/month - a $10 savings over 6 months), or a $10/month subscription for month to month service.

There is no additional activation or reactivation fee. You can come and go as you please. The program will automatically notify you when you get inside of 30 days of your expiration. You can also install and activate BidPlus on as many additional computers as you like with no additional charges. As long as you use the same Profile (which is based on your file number), then you will incur no new charges.

For those of you that are just not sure if the program is for you, there are some FREE items to consider to help you make up your mind. First, there is a Bidding Tutorial and a fully operational sample bid package included that you are welcome to play with all you like for free. (Click Help/Bidding Tutorial) All of the features that the program is known for are working and available for you to try including vacation bidding, EOM legalities, holiday pay calculation, and position bidding.

Additionally, there is a comprehensive Knowledge Base overstuffed with detailed information and color graphics describing every single aspect of the program. It is available through the Internet Mode, which is fully operational. But wait! There's more! The BidPlus Millennium Browser is available to you at all times, whether or not you are a member. You are able to start surfing the web, accessing news and sports, downloading music, making travel plans, reviewing movies, ...whatever, immediately after installing the program. And it's free! This is also how you access the Knowledge Base. As you can see, there is quite a bit to check out before  you decide to spend any money.

Customer Support (top)

There have also been some changes made to our customer support policy. As mentioned above, there is a tremendous amount of help available to you that is built right into the program.

The Knowledge Base (KB) is online on our web site, and the program has a direct connection to it. We've made it very easy to find. Simply click on the Help menu at the top, and then choose Knowledge Base. And since it is online, this means that it is constantly being upgraded and kept current. Chances are pretty good that your question has already been asked, answered, and added to the KB.

In the past, a good 95% of our customer support questions had to do with getting connected, or getting registered. As described above, the registration is now handled completely through our web site. So as long as you can get a connection, you're good to go. Which brings us to the other trouble spot, the connection. The good news is that Bidplus does not create or establish your connection. The program now either makes use of your existing connection, or it will cause your existing connection to start dialing, and then grab it once it is up and running. But if you actually have trouble making the connection, then you can now contact the customer support at either AOL or your own ISP to get it resolved. That is no longer an area that we get involved in.

With all of the available help in the program, to help you with the program, and the available customer support help at your ISP to help you with your connection, there is now very little reason to contact us directly. Even the download and installation processes are completely automated. No files to move, copy, or manage. And simple questions like registering a second computer are answered in the KB. So we encourage you to look there first.

We must insist that all contact with our tech support be initiated via e-mail first. Our e-mail address is support@bidplus.com . Over 98% of all questions are answered on the same day, and all in one response. The more detailed you are with your question, including the steps that have led up to your problem, and specifically which instructions you are trying to follow, the quicker and more detailed our response can be. However, if after a couple of e-mails we are still unable to address your problem, then we are happy to pay for the call to you. But this is rarely the case.

We highly recommend that you familiarize yourself with your computer. Also, it is a good habit to start learning to research your own answers. And if you find you still need ot contact us for help, no problem. We are here to help. All we ask is that you help us to help you!

Enjoy!
