Drag And Drop Editing Of LOFs In A Bank

The Drag and Drop Editing move is accomplished on the Review and Edit screen. Please be sure to review  Criteria Selection topic, and the Bank Overview topic to better understand this lesson.

To begin, notice that there are 40 Lines displayed on the Review and Edit screen for this Bank.

In this example, we will "Drag" Line 29, and then "Drop" it in front of Line 12. To "Drag" a Line into a new position, you must first click on it with the right mouse button.

Next, while keeping your finger down, begin dragging the Line to its new position.

And finally, let's place Line 29 in front of Line 12, and then let go to complete the move.

That's it! Notice how all of the other Lines in the Bank have slid back 1 position, and that 40 Lines still remain in the Bank.

The main rule to remember when using the "Drag and Drop"  method is that you are only able to drag a Line from and to positions that are currently visible on the screen. If you want to move a Line over a longer distance, (for example from one Bank to another), then you will need to use the Cut and Paste method of editing.
