Buddy Bidding

BidPlus allows you to buddy bid with relative ease. But in order to do so, your buddy will need to be a BidPlus member. Otherwise, you will be able to automatically upload your bids, but they will need to do so manually. This is because each BidPlus member is now required to have their own membership, which creates their own profile, which is what the program uses to sign on and upload your bid information. Please familiarize yourself with the Membership/Profile section.

**Buddy bidding with different positions is a feature that is currently not available. You may bid with positions, but they must be the same for both buddies.**

Basically, you need to open up the bid package, and then bid as normal. (Please review the section on Selecting Criteria , or the Bank Overview if you are not familiar with this process.) Once this is complete, you then need to Save the bid package.

Next, you need to simply Upload your bids. To do this, click on the Send Bids button at the bottom of the open bid package.

At this point, the screen will change to the Unimatic Plus screen, and you will be presented with the Upload dialog box.

Be sure to indicate any of your preferences, including whether this is a Monthly or Relief bid. But most importantly, be sure that the junior buddy file number is in place. If you are the junior buddy, then your file number is the one that needs to be entered.

Once all of the information has been entered properly, click OK. You will then be presented with a dialog box that instructs you to click the 'Start' button at the bottom of the Unimatic Plus screen in order to actually send your bids to the Unimatic LOFBID.

Now click OK. You will then see your Unimatic Plus LOFBID job in que and ready to go.

At this point, you can either click on the 'New' button and add additional Unimatic Plus jobs as described in the Unimatic Plus section, or you can simply click on the Start button, and the automatic upload process will begin.

Once that is complete, The Unimatic Plus status will show the job 'Complete'. To see your completed bid card, just click directly on the job itself. It will display on the screen above. Please click here for printing instructions.

Now you will need to upload your buddy's bids. First, click on the 'Exit Unimatic' button at the bottom right. This will return you to the regular Terminal mode. Next, click on the Internet button and go to the Internet mode.

Now you can click on the Profiles menu, at the top, and then choose the "Select a Different User Profile" menu. Choose the profile of the buddy you would like to use.

As described in more detail in the Profile section , each profile contains its own Communications Document. That means the information in Unimatic Plus, Apollo Plus, and bidding are specific to, and tied directly to, the active Profile. So when you change profiles, the bid package gets closed. Once you change profiles, you will need to re-open the bid package by clicking on the BidPlus mode button.

As long as you saved the bid package prior to closing it, then it will open up with the exact same information that was used to upload the previous buddy's bids.

At this point, you simply need to click on the 'Send Bids' button and repeat the upload process.
