Bidding Overview

The BidPlus Millennium Bidding Program is the cornerstone of the Millennium suite. This is easily the most powerful, flexible, intuitive, productive, and easy to use crew bidding program to be found anywhere. Check out our online video tutorial.

Please take a moment to understand the task at hand. Remember when you first went through the bidding portion of your flight attendant training? There was an entire week devoted to learning how to bid. You may have forgotten because you have been doing it for a while now. But regardless of how long you have been flying, picking up your bids and then spending hours (or days) trying to organize that amount of information is a monumental task. We know. One of our designers is a 26 year UAL flight attendant.

So here it is! BidPlus to the rescue! But wait a minute. Let's be realistic. You don't really expect to be able to just sit down and instantly understand a program that is designed to tackle a task that took you a week to learn in the first place, do you? Think about the process of bidding. Do you think you could explain it all, including all of the strategies and rules, to your non-flying neighbor in 15 minutes? Of course not!

But never fear. We don't have thousands of happy, productive customers for no reason! And they're working a lot less harder then you are. And they're finishing faster, with more accuracy. And they know their holiday pay, vacation pay, and paycheck amounts automatically.  How did they learn it?  Well, the BidPlus Millennium program is stuffed with a ridiculous amount of help resources. First, there is our Bidding Tutorial , which walks you through an entire bid session using the included sample bid package. We have also developed a  Knowledge Base , which is a collection of very detailed help and color graphics, all organized in a manner that makes your answers easy to find and understand. And finally, inside of the Knowledge Base is our Trouble Shooting Guide and Frequently Asked Answers.

So if you are still doing your best to find an excuse (even though you spent all that money on your computer), then you really must be a masochist! Are you telling us that you have time to suffer through and complain about this stuff every month, but you don't have an afternoon to sit and learn something fun and useful? Forgive us if we are having a hard time believing you.

If you think about it, the process is really very simple. And it is approached basically the same way that you do your paper bids. First you pick up your bids. (In the program, that's called downloading - takes about 3 mouse clicks. The bid package is delivered in about a minute or less). Then you open your bid package (2 more clicks). Then you tell the program what it is you would like to bid for (selecting criteria - between 1 & 4 clicks, depending on what you want). Then you instruct the program to search for those particular Lines of Flying (1 click). Then you review those LOFs (another click). Then you adjust your criteria (a couple more clicks). Then you search for more lines (1 click). The you change the order of those LOFs (editing - 2 or 3 clicks per move). Then you add Reserve, RLF, and position bidding (2 or 3 clicks per feature). Then you send in your bids into United (3 clicks).

Stop us when we get to the hard part.

Each one of these steps is explained right here in glorious detailed color. So what are you waiting for? Let's get started! (Please don't make us come get you.)
