Editing Your Banks

As reviewed in the Bank Overview topic, your Banks contain the Lines that will be sent in as your bid. Everything will be sent in in exactly the order that they are presented unless you change (edit) that order. BidPlus allows you the unparalled ease of editing the order of either the Lines in the Banks , or the order of the Banks themselves. This allows you to move literally dozens or even hundreds of Lines with one or 2 clicks of the mouse. The Lines that are contained within a Bank remain in their exact position within the Bank during any Bank editing.

There are 3 ways to edit your Banks
1)
Drag and Drop
2) Cut and Paste
3) Merge the Banks together

Drag and Drop (top)

To begin, notice that there are 5 Banks displayed. Bank 5 is simply highlighted by default.

In this example, we will "Drag and Drop" Bank 4. To "Drag" a Bank into a new position, you must first click on it with the right mouse button.

Next, while keeping your finger down, begin dragging the Bank to its new position.

And finally, let's place Bank 4 in front of Bank 2, and then let go to complete the move.

That's it! The main rule to remember when using the "Drag and Drop"  method is that you are only able to drag a Bank from and to positions that are currently visible on the screen. If you want to move a Bank over a longer distance, (for example Bank 72 to in front of Bank 5), then you will need to use the "Cut and Paste" method of editing.

Cut and Paste (top)

The process of cutting and pasting simply means to "Cut" a Bank out of one location, and then "Paste" it into another. BidPlus allows you to cut 1, 2, or more Banks at a time, and then paste them all at once into the new location.

In this example, we have highlighted 2 Banks (2 & 5) for the purpose of cutting them out. To highlight a single Bank, simply click on it. To highlight more then 1 Bank, you must first hold down the Ctrl key, and then while continuing to hold it down, click on the desired Banks so that they are highlighted, and then let go of the Ctrl key. Those Banks will remain highlighted indicating that they are now ready for editing.

To "Cut" the two highlighted Banks, you can either click on the Scissors button in the button bar...

...or you can hold down the Ctrl key, and then hit the letter 'X', and then let go of both. You will then see the "Cut" Lines temporarily disappear.

Bank 4 is now the highlighted Bank because a) it is the Bank that was closest to the last Bank that was cut, and b) there must always be a highlighted Bank somewhere by default.

The next step is to highlight the Bank that you would like to paste the "Cut" lines in front of. So now we will click on Bank 3 to indicate that the "Cut" lines are to be pasted in front of it.

Finally to Paste, we can either click on the "Paste" button in the button bar...

...or we can hold down the Ctrl key, and then click on the letter 'V' to complete the process.

Notice that the pasted Banks remain in their same relative order, that is, Bank 2 was positioned ahead of Bank 5 before the operation. And so it remains in front of Bank 5 after the paste is complete. And both Banks are pasted in front of Bank 3 as was indicated.
