The Load View
There are two views from which to begin your work. They
are The Pass View & The Load
View.
The
Pass View is generally used when you want to create a specific
itinerary for one or more cities. The Load View is generally used
when you have one or more city pairs for which you would like to
check the loads on several different dates. Very handy for
commuters! The Pass View allows you to add as many cities as you
like. It will then go online and automatically retrieve the
schedules and loads for all of the cities in your itinerary,
regardless of how many there are, or the different dates that they
may occur on.
When you first access Apollo Plus, you are presented with
a screen that looks like this.
This is the Pass View. It contains the pass "cover" on
the top half, and the Summary View on the bottom
half. To change to the Load View, simply click on the "Load Information"
button in the bottom left hand corner. The screen will then change
to look like this:
You are now viewing a new, blank Load View. To begin,
click on the 'New' button in the lower left hand corner. You are
presented with a dialog box that allows you to enter the departure
and arrival cities, as well as indicate the dates for which you
would like to retrieve information.
In this example, we are requesting information between
Denver and Los Angeles. Now look at the April calendar. Notice that
we are able to indicate several dates to retrieve information. This
is very handy for commuters. Let's say that you know for April that
you will need to commute from Denver to Los Angeles every
Thursday. You simply click each one of those dates, and it will
turn green. Once you click OK, the request is stored in the Summary
View as displayed below.
Notice that there is now a
separate entry made in the Summary View for each date. The city pair
is also displayed, along with the status of each request. You may
make as many different requests for as many different city pairs and
dates as you like before going online.
At this point, you can click the 'Call Apollo'
button near the bottom and the program will automatically begin
the process of going online and retrieving
your reqested information. Once it has completed it's tasks, you
can then move to the next phase of the process, which is
reviewing your reqested information.
