Trouble Shooting Your Unimatic or Apollo Connection

Be sure that your Java Virtual Machine (JVM) is up to date.

PLEASE NOTE: This is different then the JRE (Java Runtime Environment) that you are required to have installed if you are accessing Unimatic through your AOL software!!

JVM is a Microsoft program that allows you to use the Terminal functions, such as connecting to Unimatic. If you have a relatively new computer, or you have recently had to reformat your hard drive, then you may not have JVM installed as the Terminal functions are relatively old technology. And sometimes it just needs to be reinstalled after an upgrade of BidPlus.

To install it, first click on the Terminal button on the top right side. Once there, click on the Options menu (at the top left), and then choose Install JVM (Service Pack 19 and higher only). Then give the connection another try.
