Bidding
remains at the heart of BidPlus. It's where we began. We
were the first to offer an automated solution to bidding
(1986), and remain the only product designed by and
exclusively for flight attendants. Every other product
available on the market today was first designed for use
by pilots, and later adapted for use by flight
attendants. This is an important fact. The bottom line
is this ... a program that is built for the information
management needs of a pilot will never fully meet the
demanding needs of a flight attendant. It will simply
never happen. Only a flight attendant can understand
this. A flight attendant has to work every piece of
equipment the company operates -- each with as many as a
dozen different positions. Multiply that by hundreds of
LOFs and even more IDs and you start to get the picture.
It's in this arena that BidPlus cut it's teeth on
automated home processing. As a result, after years of
development and testing, we were awarded a U.S. patent.
Not an easy thing in the software business. As a result
you won't find our technology anywhere else. What is "our technology". It's easy. To
sum it up, we've developed a program that places the
power of the computer at your disposal without
sacrificing the control and flexibility you demand.
Bidding is an extremely personal process. No two people
do it exactly the same way. BidPlus lets you bid the way
you always bid. You remain in complete control. You
don't have to assign priorities, compromise your
requirements, or in any way give up your destiny to a
computer.
How do we do this? It's easy. Basically you
construct a number of smaller bids within one larger
bid. Each mini-bid is comprised of a given set of
criteria. Based on these criteria, the program selects
those lines that meet your needs exactly. The lines
you see won't meet some of your criteria, most of your
criteria, or some combination of your criteria. These
lines will be the real deal.

The results of
your search are then stored in a Bank. This Bank
contains only the LOFs that fit
your specific combination of criteria. You are then able to
repeat this process, creating as many Banks as necessary to
complete your bids.

Since you are the one
creating the Banks (the computer is not
"thinking" for you), the results are exactly what you want, and
stored in exactly the order that you
have placed them in. Additionally, a variety of editing features
allows you to manipulate the LOFs into any order you want, either
from within the Bank, or from Bank to Bank. You can move several
hundred LOFs at once, or one line at a time, all with the click of
your mouse. This is all done while simultaneously viewing the LOFs
and their IDs
